The StoneHill Group - Due Diligence Online Application (Loan Processing)

The Situation: One division of the StoneHill Group had a process that needed to be made more efficient. By design, they processed batches of loans. These loans were filled with complicated and sensitive information. They then assigned a rating to each batch of loans.
Having worked with our web experts initially to handle thier website redesign, they contacted our team again to solve a problem very different from there design quagmire. They needed this application built to prototype this to a potential partner, and they needed it built fast.
The Solution: Our web experts rapidly analyzed their current process and digitized over forty pages of tedious loan application forms. Since this application would be used by a wide array of people with different skill sets, it was imperative that the application be easy to use and understand. The front-end (graphical user interface), the backend (complicated database programming), and the security were assembled and ready to show in less than 9 days.
Our team of web experts created a way to import information automatically from banks, export information in detailed Microsoft Excel files formatted for import into other programs, and added a layer of complicated form validation to ensure all the information entered in by loan processors was valid.
The application continued to grow and still is a powerful element in the StoneHill Groups arsenal of client tools.
